#122: Silver Medal at the JCalicu Online Poomsae Championship

The 2026 competitive season for Poomsae has begun on a high note with an excellent international result in Poomsae, marking a strong start to the year.

Our first international Poomsae challenge of 2026 saw a standout performance from our Poomsae coach, Jovo, who competed in the JCalicu Online Poomsae Championship – Sixth Edition.

Competing in the Individual Under 40 category, Jovo secured an impressive Silver Medal, showcasing both technical precision and competitive composure on the international stage.

In a highly competitive field, Jovo delivered a strong performance with a score of 6.840, surpassing his opponent from the United States. He narrowly missed the top step of the podium after a close contest with France, who claimed gold with a score of 7.100.

This result is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the high technical standards, dedication, and professionalism within our Poomsae programme. Competing — and medalling — at international level sets an excellent example for athletes and students alike, reinforcing the importance of continuous development and high-quality coaching.

Congratulations to our coach Jovo on this outstanding performance and for proudly representing us at international level. A strong start to 2026, with more to come
