#133: Iron Taekwondo League Shines at the 6th Toronto International Open Poomsae Championships 2026
Iron Taekwondo League proudly celebrates another successful international venture, this time at the 6th Toronto International Open Poomsae & Para Poomsae Championships 2026, where our poomsae athletes delivered outstanding performances while representing the club with pride, discipline, and true martial arts spirit.
Under the guidance of our dedicated poomsae coach - Jovo Mirkovic - the team showcased not only technical quality and precision, but also the commitment and perseverance that continue to define our club on the international stage.

A special mention also goes to Fatma Mohamed Ahmed Shehata Azzam, who achieved an impressive 5th place finish in a highly competitive division. Her determination, focus, and fighting spirit throughout the event were a credit to both herself and the team.
Online international championships present their own unique challenges. Every movement, detail, and presentation is placed under close scrutiny, making discipline, consistency, and preparation more important than ever. Our athletes rose to that challenge excellently, demonstrating the hard work being invested behind the scenes week after week.
What makes these results even more meaningful is the continued growth of poomsae within Iron Taekwondo League. Watching athletes develop confidence, precision, and expression through poomsae is incredibly rewarding, and these achievements are another important step forward for the club.
We are extremely proud of every athlete who represented Iron Taekwondo League and Malta in this prestigious event. Their performances reflect not only talent, but also the values of respect, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement that Taekwondo aims to teach.
