138: Iron Taekwondo League Celebrates Success at the 7th Online Range Open Poomsae Championships
Iron Taekwondo League is proud to celebrate another outstanding achievement by its Poomsae Team following an excellent performance at the 7th Online Range Open Poomsae Championships.
Brothers Jack and Jamie competed in their first online international for poomsae.
Competing against athletes from around the world, the team demonstrated exceptional technical ability, discipline, and commitment, earning an impressive haul of four medals for the club.
The medal winners were:
🥇 Anhelina Hladchenko – Gold Medal
🥈 Dias Micallef – Silver Medal
🥉 Jack Zarb – Bronze Medal
🥉 Jamie Zarb – Bronze Medal
This international open was a first for brothers Jack and Jamie, both of whom were able to clinch bronze in their respective divisions.
Another debutant — Dias Micallef — fresh off his Kyorugi experience at the Kim e Liu in Rome, also competed and came back with a Silver medal.

The competition also saw an excellent performance from Coach Romano Biondi, who narrowly missed out on a podium finish. Competing in his respective division, Romano placed 5th, finishing just 0.2 points behind the bronze medal position—an incredibly close margin that reflects the high standard of competition.
The team was expertly led by Coach Jovo Mirkovic, whose dedication, technical knowledge, and guidance continue to play a vital role in the development of Iron Taekwondo League's poomsae programme. Under his leadership, the team has continued to grow from strength to strength, consistently producing performances that make the club proud on the international stage.
These results are a testament to the countless hours of training, perseverance, and teamwork shown by our athletes and coaches. Every competitor represented Iron Taekwondo League with professionalism and determination, demonstrating the values that define our club both on and off the mat.
