#141: Bronze Medal for Iron Taekwondo Poomsae Coach Jovo Mirkovic

Iron Taekwondo League celebrated another international achievement as Poomsae Coach Jovo Mirkovic secured a Bronze Medal at the 6th Online TaeKangWon Open Poomsae Championships.

Competing in the Individual DAN Under 40 category, Jovo proudly represented Iron Taekwondo against an international field, earning his place on the podium with a strong performance and adding another medal to the club’s growing list of competitive achievements.

Mirkovic plays an important role within Iron Taekwondo as the club’s Poomsae Coach, working closely with athletes on the technical aspects of the discipline. His own continued participation in competition reflects the same commitment to development and improvement that he encourages among the athletes he coaches.

Poomsae demands a high level of precision, balance, power, rhythm, and technical accuracy, with competitors judged on both the execution and presentation of their movements. Achieving a podium result therefore represents not only competitive success, but the considerable preparation and technical work required to perform at a high standard.

For Iron Taekwondo, the result is particularly meaningful as the club continues to develop its competitive Poomsae programme alongside its established work in Kyorugi.

Having a coach who remains an active competitor also provides an important example to younger athletes: development does not end when someone becomes a coach. There is always another level to pursue, another detail to refine and another opportunity to test oneself.

Jovo Mirkovic’s Bronze Medal in the Individual DAN Under 40 category is another valuable step forward for Iron Taekwondo and its pursuit of technical and competitive excellence.
