The team was led by coach Jovo Mirkovic, who subsequently secured second place in his respective category (under 30 male), with a total score of 6.9. Jovo placed over eight other competitors from various countries including France and USA.

ITL was represented by coach Jovo Mirkovic, Fatma Azzam and Aliyah Labay.

Aliyah and Jovo later competed in the Pairs division and achieved the team’s third medal after placing second in their respective set. They triumphed over teams from France and Netherlands.

The competition took place on Sunday 11th May, with footage of the respective poomsae recorded the week before at the ITL premises in Santa Venera.

This competition marked the third-ever competition undertaken by the ITL poomsae contingent, managed by coach Jovo. The first was at the Malta Invitational Games last November, a competition that saw Jovo walk away with a silver and cadet athlete Sinan Koruk, with gold in their respective groups. The second took place last March, with the team winning one gold and two silvers.

On behalf of the ITL, we would like to congratulate the athletes and their coach for being a part of this event.
